Baja California Sur, Mexico
Reserve Your SpotWe don't just love Baja. We made it our home.
Salty waters of the vast Ocean, whales breaking the horizon. Endless desert, warm sun and cactuses rising up from the ground like ancient statues. We want to show you Baja that we fell in love with: place where you forget where you came from. And all you see is desert air, open sky and delicious food.
Yours, Doug & Diana
7 Days, 6 Nights
Come spend a week with us immersed in the magical Baja, Mexico! With Diana you will practice yoga, meditation and drink cacao. And with Doug you will explore wonders of ocean and the desert. In the evenings we will sing together by the bonfire. In the mornings we will watch moon setting and sun rising.
We are not too worried whether you will have a good time or not, we are worried that you will have hard time leaving.
The Experience

Daily classes from grounding morning flows to chakra-focused practices in open-air studios with ocean views.

Open your heart with ancient ceremonial cacao as Diana guides you inward with song, intention, and warmth.

Catch waves on Baja's legendary Pacific coast. All levels — Doug will get you up on that board.

Crystal bowls, chimes, and Diana's voice layering over you. Surrender into deep, resonant stillness.

Trek through desert canyons to South Beach, along dramatic cliffs. The landscape does the therapy.

Sing, chant, and feel the music. Under the stars, around a fire, with humans you already love.

No choreography. No judgment. Just you and the rhythm. Free-form movement as a path back to joy.

Guided breathing that unlocks emotional release and clarity. Come ready to feel everything.
Russian-born, Ural Mountains raised — built for deep talks and dramatic life choices. Career highlights include everything from filmmaking to massage to selling mattresses in Stockholm (don't ask). After a world tour, landed in Mexico and turned all her skills into one slightly chaotic but beautiful life.
Spends her days bending humans into shapes, serving cacao, and singing to them like it's part of the job. Records albums, drops them on Spotify, and writes a book on sarcastic yoga philosophy: "Yoga Between the Poses."
Long Island native. Used to host presidents and oligarchs at some absurdly fancy hotel in downtown New York … then got bored of all that "success" and disappeared into the desert — and just stayed. Somewhere between the cacti and the Pacific, he found Yandara, a guitar, and a purpose that didn't require a suit.
Can teach you yoga, get you on a wave, and charm you with hospitality tricks from his five-star days. Now spends his mornings surfing and his days being a solid human.

FAQ
Fly into Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). About one hour to Yandara on a scenic toll road. Shuttles included for flights 11am–5pm ($45). Outside those hours: $120 solo, $60 each for two, $45 for three+. Driver waits with a Yandara sign near umbrellas 3–5 at Terminal 2. Flight delayed? Don't panic — they're monitoring.
Yoga attire, casual clothes, swimsuit, cover-up. Sweater for evenings. Sunhat, flip-flops, hiking shoes. Sunscreen, mosquito repellent. Flashlight/headlamp (trust us). Toiletries (Yandara provides hand soap only). Water bottle. Medications. And a journal.
Warm and dry. Almost continuous sunshine. Days 75–85°F (24–29°C), evenings around 60°F (15°C). Bring layers — the desert cools fast after sunset.
Bath towel, beach towel, and washcloth. Yoga mats, blocks, straps, bolsters (bring your own mat if you like). Filtered water. Laundry on Thursdays ($9). Pool, gardens, multiple yoga shalas, open-air dining.
US, Canadian, and EU citizens — just a valid passport. No vaccinations required. Travel insurance strongly recommended (allianztravelinsurance.com, worldnomads.com, safetywing.com).
Bring cash. Yandara staff: $10–15/day (split among team). Shuttle drivers: ~$5/person. Pesos preferred, USD accepted. Your personal tab (spa, smoothies, store) is paid at checkout — cash or card (no AmEx).
Alcohol-free, drug-free, smoke-free. Quiet hours 10pm–10am. 100% solar — no hair dryers. No food in rooms (desert critters). Sealed containers available in the kitchen.
Possibly! And maybe a rattlesnake. They're actually quite timid — they'll only bother you if you bother them. Baja scorpion stings are no worse than a bee sting. Walk with a flashlight at night. Think of it as bonus desert immersion. Your friend will be fine.
Then you're doing it right. It happens all the time. The person next to you is probably crying too. That's the whole point. Tissues always available. Hugs upon request.
Absolutely. We have surfing, hiking, art, a pool, a smoothie bar, a hammock, and an entire desert. By Thursday they might be on the mat too. We've seen it happen. Many times.
Some helps, but you don't need to be advanced. If you can touch your toes — great. If you can't — also great. Come curious. That's the only requirement.
Not even a little. Most people come solo. By day two you'll have a new group of friends. By day five you'll be planning your next trip together. Solo travelers are our favorite — you guys always have the best time.
Kind Words
"Diana has this rare ability to hold space that is both deeply sacred and surprisingly funny. I laughed, I cried, I felt things I didn't know I was carrying. Her cacao ceremonies are unlike anything I've ever experienced."
"Working with Diana changed the way I relate to my body and my breath. Her teaching is intuitive, warm, and honest. She doesn't try to be anyone she's not — and that authenticity is what makes her classes so powerful."

Spaces are intentionally limited to keep this Baja retreat intimate, spacious, and deeply restorative. If you're feeling the pull to slow down, breathe deeper, and say yes to yourself, we'd love to welcome you.
